Hi! I'm Adam.
As a creative, I'm an author of a journaling prompt e-book and five related products. I share journaling reflections, armchair philosophy, and self-improvement insights on X. Journaling has been a cornerstone of my personal transformation and healing, leading me to create products that help others connect with this practice. To date, I've sold over 200 products, averaging 4.95 stars in reviews.
I coach both formally and informally, drawing on my product content to guide others in their lives and careers. Coaching and mentorship not only fulfill me but also foster personal growth and deeper connections.
Personally, I have many hobbies, and some of them passions. Reading, writing, and generally learning interesting things. An early interest in history and the outdoors has led to pursuits such as archery, fishing, and hunting. Other outdoor activities I enjoy with my wife and two dogs such as kayaking and hiking. I am an Eagle Scout and owe a significant part of my success to mentors and experiences gained during my time as a Scout. I still volunteer on occasion and am a merit badge counselor.
Professionally, I am the NA Head of Operations for a manufacturing company that builds safety products. Of course I didn't start there - I consider the start of my career opening an autobody shop with a friend and learning the trade in exchange for building the business plan. He's still open 7+ years later and doing well. From there I met my now wife and seriously considered my needs and now those of another's. So, leveraging what I learned, I became an industrial painter.
I went back to school and earned my BSBA while working full time during the pandemic (and at one point studying through a bad case of COVID). From this point, I leveraged my new degree and work experience to land a position as a Continuous Improvement Specialist - an implementer and auditor of a part of the Toyota Production System (3 Pillars) for a company that manufactures automotive brakes for Toyota.
After getting my corporate chops wet, and accomplishing a great deal as the first member of a new team, my current role opportunity opened up - the first of its kind in this geography. In the midst of a site transformation, there have been many wins, lessons, and some mistakes (of course). To up my game and continually learn, I've enrolled an EMBA degree program (complete August 2025).

My first exposure to a Personal User Manual was in Morning Brew's New Manager Course. It is a snapshot of the things it may take a year or more to learn about a person when working together - compressed and to the point.
